All numbers match and the engine has never been pulled and rebuilt. This car has been maintained to perfection. The original color was steel city gray and has been painted burgundy. The paint is dead but may buff out. Other than the exhaust this car is 100% correct. One owner 1971 Corvette Roadster, ready to be restored. This car, originally purchased in Columbia, SC, has 160,000 miles on it. It has been as far west as Guam, Hawaii twice, San Francisco Bay area, San Diego, CA, Kings Bay, GA, Jacksonville, FL and finally Roanoke Rapids, NC. When this car was purchased it was used for an every day driver until about 1987. Since that time the car has been driven less and less, now I put less than 500 miles a year on it.
